Coordinator April Hunter
It is both an honor and a joy to welcome you to the Gahanna-Jefferson Preschool Program. My name is April Hunter, and I am proud to serve as the Coordinator of the preschool program at Clark Hall. I am grateful to be part of a team that helps create the very first school experience for many of our youngest learners and their families.
At Gahanna-Jefferson Preschool, we believe every child deserves to feel valued, supported and connected. Our dedicated staff creates inclusive, nurturing learning environments that honor each child's unique strengths, interests and developmental needs. Through meaningful play, exploration and positive relationships, we help children build the social, academic and school-readiness skills that serve as the foundation for future success.
Relationships are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to partnering with families and creating a strong sense of belonging for every child who walks through our doors. Our teachers are experts at engaging preschoolers through play-based learning experiences that spark curiosity, foster confidence and encourage independence. We celebrate milestones, both big and small, and work collaboratively to provide individualized supports and interventions that help every child thrive.
We are excited to share all that our preschool program has to offer and look forward to welcoming your family into our school community. It is our hope that you will quickly discover what we already know—that Gahanna-Jefferson Preschool is a special place where children are known, supported and encouraged to grow.
Our teachers and support staff are ready to welcome you into our school family, and we cannot wait to begin this journey together.
